Wherever you go in Zimbabwe, there's something different and exciting waiting for you to experience. Downstream from the famous and incomparable Victoria Falls is the holiday playground of Lake Kariba, a huge inland sea adorned with spectacular forests, open skies and spectacular sunsets. To the east are the Highlands, offering great opportunities for long walks and fishing, and throughout the country one finds National Parks full of wildlife so staggering in its profusion that any safari taken here is a voyage of discovery. Nothing prepares one for the spine-tingling excitement of viewing wildlife in the Zambezi Valley and Hwange National Park, where the variety of animals is comparable to the world's best. There's fun for adventure seekers in white water rafting and bungi jumping. There's also the incredible history of past civilisations found in the medieval ruins of Khame and Great Zimbabwe, whose massive stone constructions belong to a culture whose roots are lost in the distant past.

How to get there There are three gateways by which visitors can arrive and depart from Victoria Falls. Via Livingstone Airport located in Zambia. Through Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. Through Kasane Airport in Botswana. Kasane Airport is a mere 1.5 hour road transfer from Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is a great option as a beginning or ending to an Okavango Delta safari.
