Cape, Safari and Beyond

• Day 1:

  Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met and transferred to the One&Only Cape Town. You will have the remainder of the day at leisure.

  Amidst the vibrant playground of one of the world's most fascinating cities, cradled between the scenic wonder of iconic sandstone cliffs marching toward the brilliant waters of two great oceans, One&Only Cape Town is a 5 -Star Resort; an oasis of cosmopolitan style establishing an unprecedented level of luxury in South Africa; an urban chic waterfront resort with captivating views of Table Mountain and private Spa Island.

• Day 2:

  After breakfast, your guide will meet you for your private full-day Cape Point Tour.  Depart the hotel and flank the colder Atlantic ocean en route to Hout Bay. Once a fishing community, and now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbor still has a charm of days gone by. For the not so adventurous, the fish market "Mariners Wharf" is a must. The tour now continues over the famous Chapman’s Peak drive – if open, with a 200 meter drop on one side and a 200 meter rise on the other, as we make our way south, following the Atlantic Ocean until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe". And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City, if not South Africa. Our optional lunch stop today is at the Fish Hoek Galley. We pass the naval base of Simonstown as we continue along the Indian Ocean, en route to see the Jackass penguin colony which has become well established at Boulders Beach near Simonstown. Our last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (optional), home of some 3 500 species of Southern African fauna and flora. We return to the hotel in the late afternoon, having seen some of the best the Cape has to offer.

• Day 3:

  Explore Cape Town on your private full-day city tour including visits to Table Mountain and Robben Island. 

  On a clear day from the summit of Table Mountain you get spectacular views of the City, its Waterfront, Camps Bay, the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains to the East and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula all the way down to Cape Point to the south.

  The Table Mountain cableway, a must for all visitors to the Cape, boasts revolving floors, giving passengers a 360 degree view. After descending the mountain, you will depart on a tour of the “Mother City” taking in Signal Hill – where the Noon Day Gun is fired at midday, every day except Sunday – through the colourful Bo-Kaap or Cape Malay Quarter, past the Grand Parade, City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope and South African Cultural History Museum.

• Day 4:

  After breakfast your local English-speaking driver/guide will meet you at the hotel for a private tour of the Cape wine region. Discover the beauty and history of the Cape Winelands. Cape Dutch architecture, rolling vineyards, fine wines and beautiful mountain ranges are the order of the day. Highlights include a visit to the historical town of Stellenbosch, famous for its Cape Dutch architecture, a visit to the Ernie Els Winery and wine tastings in some of the finest wine estates. Then you set off for your return to the Mother City.

• Day 5:

  Today, you will be transferred to the Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.  Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met for your charter flight to Sabi Sabi where you will spend the next three nights on safari. Exuding the same warmth and effortless hospitality that characterises Bush Lodge, Little Bush Camp offers unparalleled intimacy and seclusion. Upon arrival, time permitting you will enjoy an afternoon game drive.

• Day 6:

  Nestled in the heart of the famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Sabi Sabi offers guests a safari experience without comparison. Today enjoy two game drives in search of the Big Five!

• Day 7:

  Sabi Sabi epitomises Africa’s magic. With no fences between the reserve and the Kruger Park, big game abounds, moving freely through this unspoiled part of the ancient African continent. Today enjoy game drives, bush walks or perhaps just relax and enjoy a day at the spa.

• Day 8:

  Today you will be met for your charter flight from Sabi Sabi to Nelspruit Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg (scheduled flight not included in price). In Johannesburg, you will fly to Livingstone Airport (flight not included in price). Upon arrival at the Livingstone Airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge.

  Overnight at Tongabezi Lodge. 

• Day 9:

  Today you will be met for your lunch on Livingstone Island. The rest of your day is at leisure to experience one of the many activities on offer.

• Day 10:

  After breakfast, you will be met for your transfer to the Livingstone Airport and your onward flight.
