Zimbabwe Highlights

• Day 1:

  Upon arrival into Zimbabwe, you will be met at Victoria Falls airport by the transfer company representative who will be waiting in the Arrivals Hall with your name on a sign.  You will be transferred to Batonka Guest Lodge.  Settle in at your lodge and enjoy an evening of leisure.

  Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at Batonka Guest Lodge.

• Day 2:

  Your day is at leisure to enjoy Batonka Guest Lodge.

  There are many activities available in Victoria Falls and we are happy to provide you with details and book these. We recommend a sunset river cruise, helicopter flight over the Falls and, of course, seeing the Falls themselves. You do not need a guide to do so as the paths are clear and well marked, but we are happy to arrange one for you. Lunch at The Lookout Cafe is a great way to finish as it has spectacular views over the gorge. 

  Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at Batonka Guest Lodge.

• Day 3:

  Today, you will be a transferred to the airport for your flight to Hwange, which will take approximately 40 minutes. There you will be met by your guide and transferred to the camp. 

  Your activities here will include game drives and walks with the experienced guides. Somalisa Expeditions is located on a private concession within Hwange and is part of an area known for its exceptional game viewing. 

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Somalisa Expeditions. 

• Day 4:

  Today, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives and/or walking safaris. Perhaps lounge by the pool for a chance to see the elephants come in for a drink and play in the mud.

• Day 5:

  Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives and/or walking safaris.

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Somalisa Expeditions. 

• Day 6:

  Today, you will have a transfer to the airstrip to meet your flight to Mana Pools where your guide will meet you and transfer you to the camp.   Here you will be able to go on walks and game drives with the experienced guides. The camp is set on the river bank so you can also simply sit back and watch the animal life that this attracts. 

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Zambezi Expeditions. 

• Day 7:

  Today enjoy morning game drives, walking, canoeing safaris and fishing (catch and release only).

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Zambezi Expeditions. 

• Day 8:

  Today enjoy morning game drives, walking, canoeing safaris and fishing (catch and release only).

  Overnight on a fully inclusive basis at Zambezi Expeditions. 

• Day 9:

  After breakfast and one last game drive, you will be transferred from the camp to the Victoria Falls airport for your flight.
